Common Signs of a Pigeon Problem Around Your Property
A few birds passing overhead do not necessarily indicate an infestation. The warning signs appear when pigeons begin using the same structure for roosting, nesting, and feeding.
Droppings in repeated locations
Concentrated droppings below ledges, solar panels, balconies, or HVAC equipment suggest that birds are spending long periods in one place.
Nesting material and blocked drainage
Twigs, feathers, and debris may collect in gutters or roof valleys. This material can hold moisture and interfere with normal drainage.
Noise at predictable times
Regular cooing, wing noise, or movement at dawn can indicate a nearby roost. Sounds inside an attic or wall cavity require prompt investigation.
Repeated birds on the same ledge
